The delphiniums were planted in early spring when there will still odd showers of snow and frost, seeing them start to flower made the finger numbing trips into the garden during the snow showers to cover them in fleece worth while. My one goal this year was to get more flowers blooming till autumn, this is one of the new plants I was testing, glad to see them blooming and fingers crossed they will be doing so for next 2 to 3 years. You can say, I'm mighty pleased..now to make that cup of coffee and enjoy the lovely sight :)
