Finally the ground conditions have improved enough to allow for digging, it's time to get back back into the garden. Needless to say, I've been stockpiling on new seeds. But first the hard graft needs to be done. The beds need to be replenished with new compost, the vege patch turned and fed with nutrients before the new plants can go in. I'm happy to report, half of the beds and one of the vege patch was done over the weekend and as a reward, I got a bunch of new plants for the new bed. The old plants are also doing their bit to herald the coming of spring, new shoots are showing, bulbs are poking their heads out of the ground, just can't wait to see what the year brings!
